Career Guidance & Adolescence Counselling Cell
A unit of the Career Guidance and Counselling Cell is functioning in the school which properly guides the students with regard to the selection of suitable courses and careers. Different types of motivation, skill development, personality development and stress management classes by experts are arranged frequently under the auspices of the unit. Sri. R Harikumar, HSST English is the teacher in charge of the Career Guidance Unit of the school.
Souhrida Club
Souhrada club is also functioning in the school with the financial assistance of DHSE. The club organizes classes on “Know Thyself “, Health & Hygiene etc joining hands with the Career guidance & Adolescence Counselling unit. Smt. Mini Jose.M , HSST Botany is the coordinator of Souhrida club in the school.
National Green corps
A unit of National green corps is also functioning in the school which promotes planting and protecting trees. A group of 50 green cadets are specially trained for the purpose.
Sports
Provides adequate coaching for students in athletics. Supports pupils in forming various teams for school in games such as Foot Ball , Cricket, Shuttle badminton, Volley Ball, Basket Ball & Kabady. School stood champions for the Nilambur Sub District athletic meet during 2016-17 and 2017-18
Youth Festival
School has been retaining its supremacy in the Nilambur sub district School Kalolsavam since 2007 bagging the Sub District Higher Secondary Championship for the tenth consecutive year.
We are providing opportunities for the talented students to win laurels up to the state level competition and there by being eligible for grace marks.
Science/Work Experience/Social science/Maths Fairs
Bagged championship for all the four fairs during 2017-2018. Our students won the Championship in Science, Social Science, Work Experience and Mathematics fair for consecutively 9th year.
Our Work experience team won the district champions during 2011-12 and Social Science team won district champion during 2012-13, 2016-17.
